A journey through the Beagle Channel

Also known as the Onashaga Channel (meaning “hunters’ channel” in the Yámana language), it is one of Ushuaia’s most striking natural wonders. The channel connects the city to a network of islands, historic estancias, wildlife colonies, and the iconic Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse.

  • Magellanic and Gentoo penguin sightings at Martillo Island (from the vessel).
